Per il terzo anno consecutivo torna alla Casa dell’Architettura di Roma Conversazioni Video – Festival Internazionale di Documentari su Arte e Architettura, curato dall’associazione culturale Art Doc Festival e promosso dalla Casa dell’Architettura di Roma.
Forti dell’importante e significativo riscontro di critica e di pubblico ottenuto nella scorsa edizione di Conversazioni Video, che si è svolta a Roma, alla Casa dell’Architettura, dal 20 al 24 ottobre 2014, nell’ambito delle Risonanze del Festival Internazionale del Film di Roma, con l’Adesione del Presidente della Repubblica e con i patrocini del Mibact – Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività Culturali e del Turismo e della Regione Lazio, Art Doc Festival lancia per il 2015 il bando per la nuova edizione di Conversazioni Video – Festival Internazionale di Documentari su Arte e Architettura.
L’edizione 2015 di Conversazioni Video si svolgerà presso l’ex Acquario Romano, sede della Casa dell’Architettura di Roma, dal 19 al 23 ottobre 2015, e presenterà al pubblico le migliori e più recenti realizzazioni documentaristiche prodotte nel mondo, dal 2012 ad oggi, sui temi dell’arte e dell’architettura.
Il Festival sarà costituito da circa venti documentari divisi nelle categorie di “Arte” e “Architettura” alle quali si aggiunge la sezione speciale “Usi e Riusi” sul tema del riciclo in arte e in architettura e sulle nuove modalità di utilizzo di oggetti, spazi e linguaggi che attraverso un intervento di recupero creativo ritrovano una nuova funzione.
I film saranno selezionati per il concorso da un Comitato Scientifico appositamente costituito che li sceglierà tra quelli pervenuti tramite il presente bando.
Le proiezioni avranno luogo tutti i giorni dalle 18:30 alle 21:00. Tutti i documentari saranno presentati e commentati dagli autori e da autorevoli personaggi della cultura, dell’architettura e della critica cinematografica.
L’ingresso a tutte le proiezioni sarà a titolo gratuito.
Verrà inoltre selezionata una giuria di esperti che assegnerà il premio al miglior documentario di ciascuna categoria.

Following the great success of the 2014 edition of Video Conversations, which took place in Rome, at the Casa dell’Architettura, from the 20th to the 24th of October, with the Adhesion of the President of the Italian Republic and the patronage of the Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities and Tourism and of the Lazio Regional Government and which was included in the “Resonances” of the International Film Festival of Rome, Art Doc Festival, for the year 2015, is launching the call for entries for the new edition of Video Conversations – International Documentary Film Festival on Art and Architecture.
The 2015 edition of the Festival will take place in Rome, at the Casa dell’Architettura, from 19th to 23rd October 2015, and it will feature the best documentary productions in cinema and television on art and architecture, produced from 2012 to the present.
The Festival will be structured into 20 documentaries divided in the sections “Art”, “Architecture” and the special section “Use and Reuse” focused on the theme of recycling and reusing of objects, spaces and languages in art and in architecture, things that through a creative intervention can find a new function.
A selecting committee will decide which of the submitted works to include in the review.
Every evening all the documentaries will be introduced by directors, architects and important cinema critics. The screenings will start at 6.30 p.m. till 9 p.m.
All the screenings will be free for entrance.
A selected jury of experts will award the prize for best documentary in each section.
